【YCP Dining】海鮮丼「TEPPEI SYOKUDO|哲平食堂」のシンガポール第5号店オープン

The brand has become one of the most popular casual Japanese restaurants in Singapore since 2011.

Singapore, Jan 2020 – YCP Dining opened the fifth outlet of Teppei Syokudo in Singapore earlier this year. This would give Teppei Syokudo stronger presence in the city after it initially opened in 2011.

Teppei Syokudo, which offers fuss-free, casual Japanese dining experience with affordable prices, opened the fifth store at Jem, a suburban mall located in Jurong East.

The brand has become one of the most popular casual Japanese restaurants in the country since its inception in 2011. It opened first outlet in Tanjong Pagar. Teppei Syokudo has since won the hearts of Singaporeans and many expats with their signature dish, kaisendon.

Kaisendon in Japanese is a combination of two words “kaisen” which means seafood and “donburi” which means rice bowl. It is a traditional Japanese dish where a bowl of rice is topped with fresh sashimi. At Teppei Syokudo, the dish is topped with 6 different types of raw seafood, namely salmon, tuna, swordfish, whelk, scallop and ikura (salmon roe). The fresh seafood flavour is further enhanced by Teppei’s secret sauce to create the right balance of sweetness and umami, putting endless smiles on our diners.

Other popular items on the menu include a wide range of Japanese curry dishes and other bento dishes, all of which ranges between SG$10 to SG$20, including the signature kaisendon.

Teppei Syokudo is also located at other major malls in Singapore - ION Orchard, Millenia Walk, Asia Square and Galaxis.
