Masafumi Koike
Partner
Masafumi Koike is a partner based in Japan. Prior to joining YCP in 2025, he worked for Investment Banking Division of Goldman Sachs Japan from 1997-2019. He served as a Managing Director leading Natural Resource Group. As the head of NRG, he advised a number of landmark M&A and Financing transactions in the space. Before joining Goldman Sachs, he worked for Arthur Andersen as a Japanese CPA. In 2020, he founded PG Capital Advisors and provided financial advisory services such as activist defense and IPO advisory.
