Meet Our Leadership Team

Takashi is our Partner based in Japan. He brings extensive experience across investment banking and private equity. He began his career at Sumitomo Bank before moving into investment banking in New York, later holding roles at Bear Stearns, Morgan Stanley, and Goldman Sachs, where he advised on M&A, financing, and strategic transactions. In 2009, he co-founded DBJ Investment Advisory with the Development Bank of Japan, leading private equity investments, portfolio value creation, governance enhancement, and exits through IPOs and M&A for approximately 11 years. He later returned to investment banking at SMBC Nikko Securities, focusing on TMT client relationships and originating strategic advisory, M&A, financing, and IPO transactions.
