Life at YCP

Hear what our team members have to say:

YCP is more than a consulting firm. It is a firm where professionals are encouraged to incubate new businesses and deployed to manage portfolio companies within the Group – thereby equipping us with practical management skills as we encounter and resolve real life business challenges on a daily basis. Despite having limited work experience, I was given the opportunity to manage our Alobaby business in Singapore and successfully built the business to 30 times bigger within two years. As a young professional, I was also empowered to independently manage consulting projects, significantly advancing my learnings and expediting my professional growth. If you are a new graduate looking to push yourself and pick up a broad range of skillsets faster than any of your peers entering the workforce - YCP is the place for you.

What It’s Like to Intern at YCP?

Andrea

The internship at YCP changed me as a person. I'n an Italian student of Business and Economics at the University of Bologna, and having the chance to meet people from different cultures enriched my understanding of the world and expanded my cultural knowledge. I learn about the Indonesian and Asian business world, which is an experience I couldn’t have done in Italy. Moreover, working with experienced professional gave me essential hands-on skills. It helped me to clearly understand what I was studying and what I wanted to do in my future. At YCP colleagues are open minded and always available to help you overcome your challenges. I would highly recommend interning at YCP to my peers as it would represent a way to grow wiser and more responsible, both from a personal and a professional perspective.

Andrea

My summer internship at YCP has been one of the most rewarding experiences in my professional life. I was given real assignments and responsibilities on a scale that I would not have expected from other internships. From day one, I was allowed to take initiative in solving business problems, such as addressing the declining profitability of a F&B business. The several projects that I was involved in served to develop and refine my comprehensive set of skills as a business student. The culture at YCP helped me feel like a valuable member of the team and a part of the family.
