Singapore, Jan 2020 – YCP Education has rebranded its programme to offer quality innovative educational experience to young learners worldwide. Previously known as SOMOS Summer Camp, the programme will officially be rebranded as YCP Education Summer Camp effective 1 January 2020.

YCP Education Summer Camp will continue to uphold the values of SOMOS – Live, Learn and Play; by providing world-class education curriculum focusing on developing 21st century skillsets whilst offering cultural exposure through fun and play to cultivate appreciation for cultural differences among young children.

YCP Education is one of YCP Group’s many strategic investments, established to offer quality innovative educational experience to young learners worldwide. YCP Education established itself in Singapore since the year of 2017 and had successfully organised more than 30 summer camps attracting hundreds of children from different countries.

At YCP Education Summer Camp, young campers can pick and choose from a wide variety of different courses ranging from science and technology courses such as robotics and coding to arts and crafts. The usual camps are held over a course of 2-days or 5-days during school holidays, but partnering educational institutions or agencies are welcome to request for customised camps that would best fit their schedule and interest.

Appollo Programme

In 2020, YCP Education will be introducing a new programme called The Apollo Programme catering to high school students with the objective of preparing students for future career. The Apollo Programme is designed to provide participants with an opportunity to gain real-life business experience and learn essential business concepts including strategy, finance and marketing. The programme will be conducted by business professionals of YCP Group. These learnings can then be applied through a business plan ideation process where participants will create a business plan and subsequently pitch the idea to a panel.
